My name is Ingrid Proud. I have had over 20+ years in major international events and projects globally.
Having lived and worked around Australia and overseas in the Middle East, China, Europe and UK, I have built my extensive career in detailed project planning, governance, operations and logistical delivery across the public and private sectors.
​I have worked on projects and events such as 2023 FIFA Womens World Cup, 2022 FINA Melbourne World Short Course, Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Announcement, Dubai Expo (Qld Govt), Study Queensland, 2018,2006 & 2002 Commonwealth Games, 2008 Beijing Olympics, 2006 Asian Games Doha, Qatar National Convention Centre, Suncorp Stadium, 2003 Rugby World Cup, 2001 Goodwill Games and more.
With organisations such as Tourism and Events Queensland, Trade and Investment Queensland, Study Queensland, Swimming Australia, ASM Global, Queensland State Government, City of Gold Coast, Great Big Events, QSport and more.
I have developed a strong local and global professional network in various industry sectors, events, venues and complex stakeholder environments. I was born in country Queensland, attended university in Brisbane, and have been back living full time here since 2011 after living abroad on and off since 2002.
I am Managing Director of Better Events VR, member of the Queensland XR Advisory Board and committee member of the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Legacy Committee for the State Government.
